You’re thinking about getting a new vehicle and are trying to determine if you should lease or buy. Ask yourself the following questions and keep track of your answers. We’ll help you tally up your results to see which option might be best for you.
- How old is your phone?
a. I get the hottest model every time a new one comes out. Sleek new case, fastest operating speeds and the latest AI!
b. I’ve had the same phone for a few years now. The screen is cracked, it loads a little slow, but hey, it works.
- How do you approach budgeting vs. spending money?
a. I budget and track my money. I like to know exactly how much I’m spending and what I’m spending it on.
b. I save responsibly. I don’t always love spending money, but I know that some things are an investment and take more capital.
- You’re going on a trip across the country. How do you arrive at your destination?
a. I’m flying – I don’t like being on the road for a long time.
b. I’m driving – I just finished making my road-trip playlist!
- How do you drive your vehicles?
a. I stick to paved roads and take good care of my vehicles.
b. A few bumps and scratches along the way are proof of our adventures, right?
- Do you like to personalize your vehicles?
a. No, I like the way they come from the factory.
b. Yes, they need to say “me” because my vehicle is an extension of who I am.
- At the ice cream shop, which flavor do you choose?
a. The limited-time special – I’m always up for something new.
b. My favorite flavor – I stick with something that’s tried-and-true.
- What’s your favorite thing about a new vehicle?
a. That new technology. I love consistently having the latest safety features and conveniences.
b. That low mileage. I look forward to putting 100,000 miles or more on it.
- How long do you typically keep a vehicle?
a. Two to three years.
b. As long as possible.
