Servicemembers Civil Relief Act

The Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) applies to qualified active duty military personnel. Benefits provided under the SCRA may vary. 

Please provide GM Financial with military notification that includes your name and active duty date. GM Financial must receive notification in one of the following formats:

  • A copy of the active duty orders;
  • A letter from your commanding officer on military letterhead; or
  • Some form of official notification

Send the active duty notification to the Customer Experience Support department via fax or mail.
