A quick-start guide to GM Financial payment options
By Taylor Provost / 02/06/2026 / Your Account
These days, paying bills should be effortless. Our payment options are designed to help you find what works best for you, eliminate confusion and access the information you need with ease.
We understand that every customer is unique. That’s why we offer flexible payment methods designed to fit your needs and lifestyle. Our Payment Options page includes all the details you need to make a payment, plus relevant information like potential fees, payment limits and deadlines.
Use the quick-start guide below to find which payment option is best for you.
Pay online
Set up quick and convenient payments online or on the GM Financial Mobile app with MyAccount. Within the portal, you can choose from one-time or recurring payment options using your bank account, schedule payments with Auto Pay and even use points from GM Rewards toward your account.
Outside of MyAccount, there are two other ways you can make online payments:
- Auto debit: Authorize GM Financial to automatically withdraw your payment from your bank account by your due date.
- Bank automatic payments: Set up automatic payments through your bank's bill pay feature, which will send your payment to GM Financial.
Pay by credit card
Make payments securely with your credit card through trusted providers Western Union® and MoneyGram®. This option allows payments to post quickly, however, you will have to pay them a fee for their services.
Pay by mail
Submit your payment coupon (found on your mailed billing statement) and a check via regular mail or overnight mail. Find mailing addresses for regular payments and lease or retail payoffs on our Payment Options page under the Mail tab.
Pay by phone
Call us to make a payment less than $3,000 through our automated system or an agent-assisted line during business hours. GM Financial accepts payment by phone via bank account or debit card through ACI Payments Inc. or Stripe, both of whom charge a fee.
Pay by cash
Sending a cash payment through Western Union or MoneyGram allows payments to post quickly, but remember, they will likely charge you a fee for their services.
Whether you prefer online convenience or in-person familiarity, GM Financial is here to make managing your account simple, secure and stress-free.
