Cool Cars for Remarkable Kids program expands to Charlotte, NC

New Cities, More Cool Cars

A ribbon-cutting and key presentation will make it official: On July 12, Charlotte, N.C. will become the newest city in the expansion of the Cool Cars for Remarkable Kids program, GM Financial’s collaboration with Ronald McDonald House (RMH).

This collaboration enables RMH families – many of whom have traveled miles from their homes for medical treatment and do not have their own means of transportation – to access a GM Financial off-lease SUV. Families can use this vehicle to run errands, drive to treatment centers, or even have a fun family outing.

Since launching Cool Cars for Remarkable Kids in 2016, GM Financial has expanded the program to 12 cities across Texas, Michigan and North Carolina – all markets where we maintain a significant commercial or employment presence. We plan to expand to Arizona by the end of the year.

The Cool Cars program is one half of GM Financial’s Mobility Initiative, a multi-faceted effort aimed at creating opportunities for social and financial mobility. Through KeysSM by GM Financial, we are helping consumers realize smarter financial futures through financial literacy education and resources.

Follow GM Financial on Facebook to learn more about our Mobility Initiative and see where Cool Cars for Remarkable Kids will roll out next.
