GM Financial Names Susan Sheffield As Chief Financial Officer

“I am pleased to announce Susan’s appointment to Chief Financial Officer, which demonstrates both our focus on long-term succession planning and our continued support of our parent company,” said Dan Berce, President and CEO of GM Financial. “During her tenure, Susan has established a strong track record in every leadership position she’s held, including leading our funding strategies and treasury activities and evolving as General Motors’ captive finance arm.”
Prior to her appointment to Chief Financial Officer, Sheffield served as GM Financial’s Executive Vice President and Treasurer, a role she assumed in 2014. Since joining the organization in 2001, she has held leadership positions in a number of functions, including corporate finance, structured finance and investor relations. Prior to joining GM Financial, Sheffield worked primarily in corporate and commercial banking.
