Summer Internship Program
Real-world experience and hands-on training to supplement your education
Internship positions are available in several locations across the U.S. for the following departments:
- Commercial Lending
- Credit Division (Dealer Services)
- Credit Review
- Customer Experience
- Enterprise Services
- Human Resources
- Internal Audit
- Marketing and Communications
- Credit Risk Management
In our 10-week Summer Internship Program, you'll have the opportunity to work on major projects and showcase your skills and talents. Interns are paid competitive wages, and you will work alongside industry-leading professionals. We look for students who are ready to take on business-changing projects and gain exposure in a variety of industry initiatives.
Our program offers executive and peer networking opportunities, career development, team project experiences, philanthropic activities and an opportunity for full-time positions. Our interns leave this program with the knowledge and experience of working in a team-oriented environment to deliver results and solutions that ultimately impact our parent company, General Motors.

Employees can be reimbursed for two Walk/Run/Cycle events benefiting an approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit per year.
