Replacing Your Vehicle

If you have to replace your vehicle, GM and GM Financial can help:

  • GM is offering $1000 Disaster Relief Bonus Cash on financing or leasing a Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac at dealerships in or near impacted areas.
  • Eligible customers may qualify for a 90-day deferred first payment on GM new vehicles, Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) and the online Factory Pre-Owned Collection.

Credit bureau reporting

For accounts in areas that were declared a disaster area by FEMA, GM Financial will use a special code (AW) developed by the credit reporting agencies when reporting on accounts in the impacted areas. This code will indicate that an individual has been affected by a natural disaster.

Your credit score is calculated and maintained by the credit reporting agencies. We are not able to tell you if this will impact your credit score. You can contact Experian, TransUnion or Equifax.
