Why?
Financial companies choose how they share your personal information. Federal law
gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires
us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information. Please

Federal law gives you the right to limit only
- sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes—information about your
creditworthiness
- affiliates from using your information to market to you
- sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

Affiliates
|
Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial
companies.
- Our affiliates include companies with an "AmeriCredit" or "GM Financial"
name (including units of AmeriCredit Financial Services, Inc. and GM Financial such
as Buick Financial, Cadillac Financial, Chevrolet Financial, GM Financial, GM Financial
Leasing and GMC Financial); financial companies such as ACAR Leasing Ltd., ALC Leasing
Ltd., Bay View Acceptance Corporation, and Long Beach Acceptance Corp.; and nonfinancial
companies such as OnStar LLC and other companies with a "General Motors" or "GM"
name.

Nonaffiliates
|
Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and
nonfinancial companies.
- Nonaffiliates we share with can include financial service providers, motor
vehicle manufacturers, motor vehicle dealers, insurance companies, aftermarket product
providers, direct marketers, and retailers.

Joint marketing
|
A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market
financial products or services to you.
- Our joint marketing partners include financial service providers, motor
vehicle manufacturers, motor vehicle dealers, insurance companies, aftermarket product
providers, direct marketers, and retailers.

CALIFORNIA AND VERMONT RESIDENTS: We do not share information we collect
about you with nonaffiliates for purposes other than our everyday business purposes.
VERMONT RESIDENTS ONLY: We do not share information we collect about you
with our affiliates for purposes other than marketing.

*ACAR Leasing Ltd., ALC Leasing Ltd., AmeriCredit Consumer Discount Company, AmeriCredit
Consumer Loan Company, Inc., AmeriCredit Financial Services, Inc., GM Financial
(including its Buick Financial, Cadillac Financial, Chevrolet Financial, GM Financial,
GM Financial Leasing and GMC Financial units), Bay View Acceptance Corporation,
and Long Beach Acceptance Corp. (collectively, "GM Financial")
Marketing Opt-out
- GM Financial (described above*) is providing this notice.
- You may limit GM Financial's Affiliates (defined above) from marketing their
products or services to you based on your personal information that they receive
from GM Financial. This information includes your income, your account history,
and your credit score.
- Your choice to limit marketing offers from GM Financial Affiliates will constitute
your choice to limit all sharing of your personal information by GM Financial that
you are permitted to limit (as described on the first page of this notice) and will
apply until you tell us to change your choice.
To limit marketing offers, contact us as provided in the "To limit our Sharing" section on the first page
of this notice.
Please note that when you choose to opt out, you may be excluded from receiving many valuable new credit offers, as well as products and services with many benefits. If you DO NOT want to opt out at this time click on "Don't Opt Out" below, and you will not be opted out.
